நாம் ஒரு முக்கியமான கால கட்டத்தில் இருக்கிறோம் ஆனால் அதை பற்றி நாம் எல்லோரும் உணர்ந்தோமா என்று கேட்டால் இல்லை என்று தான் சொல்ல வேண்டும். இங்கு நாம் நாம் என்று குறிப்பிடுவது தமிழர்களை.
சரி தமிழர்கள் என்ன முக்கியமான காலகட்டத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்று நினைகின்றீர்களா? அது ஒன்றும் இல்லை ஐ.நா. மனித உரிமைக் கவுன்சிலில் இலங்கைக்கு எதிரான தீர்மானத்தை இந்திய ஆதரிக்க வேண்டும் அதற்கு நாம் ஒரு குரலில் குரல் கொடுத்து இந்திய அரசை ஆதரிக்க வைக்க வேண்டும்.
நாம் இப்போது இந்த வாய்ப்பை தவற விட்டால் பின் எப்போதும் இலங்கை தண்டிக்க நமக்கு வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்காது.
உண்மையில் இப்போது என்ன நடந்து இருக்க வேண்டும். நாம் நம் மக்களுடன் வீதியில் இறங்கி இருக்க வேண்டும் ஏன் என்றால் இன்னும் இந்திய அரசு தீர்மானத்தை பற்றி வெளிப்டையாக ஒரு கருத்தும் கூறவில்லை இப்போது இந்திய அரசு தீர்மானத்தை ஆதரிக்க வில்லை என்றால் பின் எப்போதும் இலங்கையை போர் குற்றத்திற்கு தண்டிக்க முடியாமல் போய்விடுமோ என்று அச்ச படுகிறேன்.
இந்திய அரசு பல முறை இந்த மாதிரி தமிழர்களுக்கு எதிரான பிரச்சனையில் காலை வாரி உள்ளது அதனால் நாம் இப்பொழுது விழித்து எழுந்து வீதியில் இறங்கி போராடி இந்திய அரசை இலங்கைக்கு எதிரான தீர்மானத்தை ஆதரிக்க வைக்க வேண்டும்.
சேனல் 4 இருக்கும் அக்கரையில் நான்கில் 1 பங்கு இருக்குமா என்பது சந்தேகமே? உண்மையில் நாம் எப்போதே பொங்கி இருக்க வேண்டும் ஆனால் நாம் நம் உணர்வுகளை விற்று விட்டோமோ என்று தோன்றுகிறது.
கீழ் காணும் வீடியோ காட்சிகளை காணும் போது கல் நெஞ்சமும் கரைந்து போகும் ஆனால் நம் நெஞ்சம் கரையவில்லை இவர்களுக்காக குரல் குடுக்க மனம் வரவில்லை என்பதே வேதனை.
இவர்களுக்கு தண்டனை வேண்டாமா? இவர்களும் ஒரு வகையில் நம் உறவுகள் தான் அதை நாம் ஏன் உணர மறுக்கிறோம் என்று தெரியவில்லை.
இப்போது பிரபாகரனின் 12 வயது மகன் பாலச்சந்திரன் கொடூரமாக கொல்லப்பட்ட வீடியோ வெளியிட போகிறதாம் சேனல் 4! மிக மிக நெருக்கத்தில் வைத்து பாலச்சந்திரனை சிறுவன் என்றும் பாராமல் கொடூரமாக சுட்டுக் கொன்றுள்ளனர் இலங்கை வீரர்கள்.
அது மட்டுமில்லாமல் சேனல் 4 வசம் பிரபாகரன் குறித்த ’பரபரப்பான’ வீடியோவும் உள்ளதாம்.
இந்த குற்றவாளிகளுக்கு நாம் இப்பொழுது தண்டனை வாங்கி தராவிட்டால் இந்த உலகம் உள்ள வரை தமிழர்களை தூற்றும் இந்த போர் குற்றவாளிகளுக்கும் நமக்கும் வேற்றுமை இல்லை என்று தூற்றும்.
வீழ்வது இழிவாகாவது வீழ்ந்து கிடப்பது இழிவு அதனால் இப்பொழுது நம் ஒற்றுமையை காட்ட தவறி விட்டால் பின் எப்பொழுதும் எந்த பிரச்சனைகளுக்கும் இந்திய அரசு நமக்கு துணை இருக்காது இதை நாம் உணர வேண்டும்.

But Raja, these are old stories. Cruel ones. But there were bad war between both Srilankan and Tamil Tigers. We really need to get authenticated information, where these are happening again. To my knowledge, there are Tamil people still homeless for which Indian government has helped to an extent.
To your question, what we need to do are 2 things.
1. Media/India government / UN organization should help to find out whether still there is issue in Srilanka or not.?
If there is a issue, it will be highlighted and Srilankan government is in trouble.... WE people are stronger to agitate through social media.
2. If Tamilian at Srilanka needs help then govenment , NGO , UN should start helping them. To trigger, we need media and social networking help.

ReplyDeleteHere you have to understand that Srilankan government not allowing UN organization/Media/India government to find out the truth. They are taking indian authorities/media/UN authorities to the selected place. They are not allowing tamil people to speak with non srilanka people.
Sri Lanka government not ready to help Tamil people and also they not ready to allow anyone to help them.
And more over the media's in India is not giving importance to this issue there is politics behind this. No footage has been telecast in Indian media's regarding Sri Lanka war crime except Headlines Today.
The problem is we (tamil people in Tamil Nadu) are not taken this issue as serious one.
Yesterday indirectly our financial minister has said that they will not support the draft resolution proposed by USA. What gave India to take this decision none other than there is no unity with Tamil people this gave guts to them to take this decision.
The indian government never taken proper steps in the tamil fishermans problem not only on this in kavery, mullai periyaru issue. All the issue central government has taken steps against us(Tamil people).
We can't simply blame politicians. The basic problem we have is that we(Tamil people) never fought against these issues and we are not giving importance to these issues.
First we have to make central government to support the draft. we can achieve this only via showing our unity and protesting against central government next we have to overcome the don't care attitude.
Don't know when Tamil people will realize this and how we going to punish this Sri Lankan army and government if we didn't do this then it means that indirectly we also supporting the Sri Lankans and there war crimes. :(

ReplyDeleteI don’t agree on your first statement. There are secret agencies are available. In this era of having twitter, FB and internet blogs.. it is easy to understand the real situation from the people out there. Yesterday, I tweeted to srilankan folks and found the situation is calm there The following was said by that person.
1. Srilankan government has asked every child belonging to all the community to learn Tamil and Singalam. This is brought as mandatory.
2. There are local Tamil channels Dan Sinhala channels are getting operated in Jaffna.
3. The person showed the picture of shriya Saran with organizes of the Shakthi awards show in Lanka (Hindu ladies college). It was marvelous.
4. The person welcoming Indians to come over there and enjoy as tourist.
I heard myself from one my colleague who visited srilanka recently. It is a beautiful place and it is peaceful.
I agree the point that Tamils are given all previlages in Srilanka. But you need to accept the fact that Tamils are foreigners. Every country gives first previlage to their citizen which is a known truth. If you have visited foreign countries, you can visibly see that we are treated as second rated citizen. I used to feel sad for the ignorant people in Indian saying proud about their children living in foreign countries. I would say, we live with more pride being in INDIA.
So my suggestion is, if people wanted to return to India, our government should accept them back. If they want to live in Srilanka they need to accept themselves as second rated citizen. In this century, the world started looking as one as human's even country differences will come down soon.
Raja....Lets not get differentiated ourselves as language based. We need to look at human right issue. Atharmam can win just temporarily. Dharmam and Niyadhi will stand strong . The time will take it for sure. If the government/ Any individual making wrong decision they will pay for it.
Let us not just worry with problems, we should try to think and suggest solutions and try to do what best we can do. BELIEVE ME ... Today individual man is more powerful. If Gandhi can make why can't YOU.

Let we speak about the practical things in Northern part of Sri Lanka they constructing Hospitals in places like killinochi and yalpanam from this you can understand the status of the Sri Lankan Infrastructure in northern places.
In Sri Lanka tamil people are living in Northern, Eastern and southern part of the Sri Lanka. The tamil people living northern and eastern part affected worse. Still there are homeless tamil people. Here we have to notice one thing that many sinhala's are shifted to northern part why they doing this. The land are illegally graphed and given to sinhala people why they doing. They destroyed all the evidence for tamil culture in northern part what is motive behind this.
They burnt asia's biggest tamil library which was located in Yalphanam in 80's. In the fire incident we lost many rare tamil books.
You pointed following points.

Just where this and all happening in Northern/Eastern part. From my understanding this will happen only in Colombo and the place around this.
Its a beautiful place I never denied that but the Tamil people life is beautiful. I am speaking about the tamil people lives in Northern,Eastern and southern part of Sri Lanka not people living in Columbo.
My question to you is who told Tamil people are foreigner do you have any proof for that. Don't simply say what others speaking just analyse the fact.
Here is my explanation why I am telling Tamil people are not foreigners.
1) The Tamil people ruled the country for more than 1000 years.
2) 70% of Sri Lankans are Theravada Buddhists. Think which is oldest one Buddhism or Hinduism. Before the birth of Buddhism religion who owns the country Sri Lanka. The Buddhism starts at 6th century BCE it was expanded to Sri Lanka at 2nd century BCE.
3) Who rule the country before this Buddhism expanded to Sri Lanka what was there mother tongue who are they.
4) From my understanding Tamil people ruled the country for long time so they are the native people after the British rule the facts about the history was hided or some how Tamil people was fooled made them as second rated citizen.
We have differentiate ourselves as language based. Just tell 1 incident when Indian government take right steps for Tamil people related issues. Our foreign minister runs to Australia if a northern country people attacked. They taking all the steps when kerala,karnataka and andhara faces any issues but they not ready to take any steps for Tamil people.
Verry sorry for saying this Tamilan should get unite to solve there problems if it not happens then India will get break into small pieces.

Sorry to repeat again! All which was done is history! The civil war is over. We need to MOVE ON! We need to work out what we need to do now. Let us not talk about history.
Please do justify LTTE guys. They were involved in all cruel acts! Agree the fact that Srilankans were not fair to Tamil people before 80's. But Tamilians should have followed Non- violence, then we would have appreciated. British people were much more cruel to Indians than Srilankans.
Ok. I agree to your fact that Tamil people are the originators. So you are asking for equal rights.... In this case, the Tamil people in Srilanka should fight for it through Non- Violence, India /UN and other countries can support. This is my view. At this moment to restore back to normal mode, let everyone help in humanity basis.
I'm also Tamilian. I love my language as well the my state. Central Government is not supporting Tamil people is a myth. Take each as an issue and all sensible human should start supporting. Let us not compare things with others. Let us talk about the issue and work on to get the resolution. But the SAD part is our politicians / representatives don’t have clear thoughts around the issue and resolution. If you look at them, I feel sad that each politicians are egoistic and they just fight I'm right and you are wrong.
In a Nut shell, we need right sensible leaders to take it to public & government and try to resolve our issue. It is not just uniting Tamil people. please unite all sensible people through out the country/ world and ask for help.

ReplyDeleteI'm from Thiruvarur and my uncle was into politics with Vai Ko. During my childhood I remember we gave accomodation in our farm house to LTTE families and we were supporting them with all food, money and clothing .
Yep... thanks for reminding all history. But the fact is, LTTE people were not living a moral living among themselves. They are terrorists, Naxalites . They harmed singalies. There were blood shed in both the sides. The pride people are who died by fasting. If the whole Srilankan Tamil people have one Non Violence movement they would have won. The big mistake they did to India is killing Rajiv Gandhi which created whole India & world consider them as terrorist group.
As I insisted, we need to move on. I checked with couple of people in Srilanka. The situation is good now. Whole world should help them for betterment. Seperate country is a not a solution and it is a bad idea.
I love your passion! Keep it up! But please start thinking objectively you will enjoy.

ReplyDeleteI never came to know situation is becoming good for Sri Lanka Tamilan's in Sri Lanka. Not even single incident I came to know. And LTTE's are not naxal's or terrorists they are true freedom fighters. 350 thousand ppl believed them not because of fear on them because they are one among them. Sri Lankan army is bigger than LTTE army if ppl hated LTTE then they would joined with Sri Lankan army.
Still its not confirmed who is the real person behind the Rajiv Gandhi assassination so far its assumed LTTE there many ppl not yet arrested but for reason it projected as LTTE. Subramaniya Swamy and chandira swamy also have red hand on this assassination.
if LTTE is behind the assassination then I won't say its wrong. He deserves that he send the army for Peace process but they killed Tamil ppl and raped tamil womens.
Without punishing the Sri Lankan army and the Authorized person for war crimes no good will happen for Sri Lankan tamilans.
